RodOil operations are booming! The company announced that it will build its second distribution center in Minas Gerais. This time, the chosen city was Betim.
RodOil announces the installation of a new distribution center, taking another step towards the company's expansion. The chosen city was Betim, in Minas Gerais, being the second unit in the state, since the first is in Uberlândia. Operations are growing and the necessary investment has been calculated to meet the high demand.
Investments in the new unit should reach R$ 10 million in 2023, according to the company's president
RodOil is a mining company with nationwide reach.
This made it reach the fifth place in the ranking of the largest distributors in the country in terms of number of service stations, demonstrating a high potential — which, incidentally, does not stop growing, as shown by the construction of a new distribution center.
- Oil exploration on the Equatorial Margin: 16 billion barrels and 326 thousand jobs that can transform Amapá and Brazil
- Billion-dollar offshore deal: PRIO invests US$1,92 billion and takes over 40% of giant offshore field in Brazil after Chinese companies leave
- New gas discovery in South America takes Venezuela to 300,9 BILLION barrels, surpasses Saudi Arabia, Canada and Iraq, and leaves the Middle East eating dust!
- Federal government approves and pre-salt oil will be auctioned! New Chinese dominance?
The plans for the new unit are that it will initially be responsible for distributing around 1.500 cubic meters.
There is still no fixed date for the start of implementation of the new RodOil distribution center, but it is expected to happen in the coming weeks, still in early 2023.
Regarding the new year, RodOil is willing to invest heavily in the unit so that it can meet the requested demand.
According to Roberto Tonietto, the company's president, the initial budget available is R$ 10 million and should make it highly prepared, like the existing unit in Uberlândia.
Betim was even chosen to improve the company's performance in the state in which it was created. Minas Gerais has great influence in the market, as Tonietto reinforces in his speech: “This new operation will allow us to expand our operations and provide more agility in delivery within Minas Gerais, in this large and important Brazilian market. We intend to continue our expansion in 2023, qualifying services in the states where we operate and conquering new markets”.
In addition to the gains for the company itself and the consumer community, it is also worth noting that the installation of a new distribution center contributes to the generation of new jobs.
It is estimated that more than 100 vacancies will be offered, including direct and indirect opportunities.
RodOil does not plan on expanding to new states right after installing the new distribution center. The team remains attentive to new opportunities even so
RodOil's new distribution center in Betim is already a big expansion step for the company at the moment.
For now, thinking about new paths for growth, both in Minas Gerais and in other states, is still something off the radar, as the company's president says.
Currently, seven states are served by the company: Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás and Mato Grosso.
Despite not planning any other grandiose steps soon, Tonietto commented on how he is always watching market trends and needs, especially in relation to interest rate movements, a decisive factor for his business.
However, for 2023, the focus of RodOil's investments will continue to be on the Betim distribution center. For operations to gain strength within the company, it is necessary to make a large investment, in order to make it compatible with the competition. In Minas Gerais, one of the most competitive markets in Brazil, standing out means high revenue, which is essential for the company.
