São Luís City Hall, Sinduscon, FIEM and FUMPH are offering free courses, with grants of R$ 300, for students who want to enter the civil construction sector
The City Hall of São Luís, in partnership with Sinduscon, FUMPH and FIEMA, is accepting applications for the selection process of 36 vacancies for free courses in the civil construction sector. The opportunities are part of the Canteiro Escola Program, which aims to train labor for civil construction, seeking to conserve cultural assets protected by law.

36 vacancies are being offered in free courses for Painter of Real Estate Works and Mason of Coating. To compete for City Hall and Sinduscon opportunities, candidates must have completed elementary school.
The participants too will receive a grant of BRL 300, in addition to transportation vouchers, clothing and food vouchers. Each of the free courses has a workload of 400 hours.

The forecast is that the classes will start in the second half of November this year. Classes in civil construction courses will be available in the morning and afternoon, and the Institution responsible will be the National Service for Industrial Learning (Senai). At the end, those approved will receive a certificate of professional qualification by the institutions that make up the project.

To participate, candidates must be at least 18 years old and have completed elementary school. For both free courses offered, candidates must prove a minimum experience of three months in the position in the work card.
The first 36 competitors who signed up for both courses will be classified. The following documents will be required:
- ID card;
- School Records;
- Declaration of Completion of Elementary School;
- Proof of professional experience in the desired position.
The other registered participants will remain on a reserve list, and may be called on for the project if some of the other candidates drop out or drop out of the courses. The approved list will be announced on November 10th, on the FIEMA, and on the Canteiro Escola Program partner channels.
How to enroll?
To register, you must access the FIEMA website by November 5th. If the candidate is classified, it will be necessary to attend the Senai-MA school on BR 135 Km 5 – Industrial District, and present the aforementioned documentation for the enrollment.
If those classified for the free courses of the City Hall and Sinduscon do not attend to enroll, the vacancy will be lost. The partners of the Canteiro Escola Program, FIEMA and SINDUSCON, will be responsible for the purchase and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the free courses, in accordance with current legislation and guidance from Senai. Theoretical classes will take place at the Program's headquarters, which is located at Rua Portugal, n° 152, Praia Grande, Historic Center of São Luís.
