Senai initiative brings free training to 22 cities in Paraná, with more than 40 technical courses offered in school trucks. Students can receive scholarships of up to R$600 and certification.
Senai is expanding access to professional training in Paraná with the Mobile Schools project, which will travel to 22 cities in November. With more than 40 free courses, the initiative is part of the “Qualifica Paraná” and “Carretas do Conhecimento” programs, developed in partnership with the state government and Volkswagen do Brasil. Courses range from IT and mechanics to clothing manufacturing and machining, all designed to empower the population and meet the local demand for qualified professionals.
The big novelty of these projects is the format: the classes take place in Senai school trucks, with a complete structure for real-life practice and simulations. In addition, students receive a scholarship of up to R$600 and a certificate, which guarantees an advantage in the search for opportunities in the market. With an average duration of 96 hours, the courses are divided into afternoon and evening shifts, facilitating the participation of all interested parties, even those with a busy work routine.
Expanding access to technical training
Senai's Mobile Schools arrive at a time when professional qualifications are becoming increasingly essential for the job market. The itinerant structure is a strategy to reach regions that are less served by in-person courses and provide quality technical training. According to the government of Paraná, the expectation is that the initiative will also benefit the local economy, as participants will be ready to fill vacancies in essential sectors, such as vehicle maintenance and industrial production.

The goal is to strengthen professional development in hard-to-reach communities, ensuring that knowledge reach the most remote places in the state.

How the selection process works
Places for free Senai courses are limited, with each class having between 16 and 20 students. The selection process is simple and focused on offering opportunities to the local population, prioritizing those who do not yet have technical training and who are looking for a job in the job market. Applications can be made directly through the Senai website or at service points in participating cities.
During the course period, in addition to practical and theoretical training, students will receive financial aid of up to R$600 to help with transportation and food costs.. At the end of the course, participants who have performed well and attended receive a certificate of completion, valid throughout the national territory and valued by companies in the sectors of manufacturing, industry and commerce.
