The city has no less than 2.474 job openings, and there is everything from bus drivers to pharmacists, not forgetting the famous stockers. With so much on offer, it almost seems like Rio turned into a machine of jobs, spreading opportunities to every corner of the city.
Last Monday (30), the Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE) announced the opening of these job openings for various areas and levels of education. If you are looking for a new opportunity, this could be your chance! In total, there are 2.474 job openings spread across several regions of Rio de Janeiro, with 40 bus driver openings on Ilha do Governador standing out. The detail? No previous experience is required! That's right, you just need to have a specific license and complete elementary education.
Vacancies for all profiles
Among the opportunities, 719 of them are exclusively for people with disabilities (PWDs), demonstrating Rio de Janeiro's commitment to inclusion. Among these vacancies, 40 are for pharmacy attendants, also on Governador Island.

If you have higher education, there are job openings for pharmacists in São Cristóvão, requiring six months of experience. For those with elementary or high school education, job openings include stocker (20 vacancies), bartender (10 vacancies), carpenter (2 vacancies) and delivery driver (20 vacancies in Jacarepaguá). Opportunities are also available for programmer (1 vacancy) and for the aforementioned bus drivers on Ilha do Governador.

Those interested in job openings can register in the job opportunities database SMTE via official website. For those who do not have access to the internet, registration can be done in person at one of the seven Workers' Centers spread throughout the city. The Centers are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 16 pm, and candidates must bring their ID, CPF, PIS and an updated resume.
