In a strategic move to expand its presence in the Brazilian market, Safran Electronics & Defense enters into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HBR Aviação. This collaboration marks a turning point in the aviation sector, promising to equip Robinson helicopters with the advanced system Euroflir™ 410, a milestone in electro-optical technology.
A high-flying partnership
The signing of the MoU took place during the HAI HELI EXPO 2024 event, held in California, United States. Important personalities from Safran and HBR Aviação, including Alexandre Ziegler, Executive Vice President – Defense Division of Safran Electronics & Defense, and Cesar Parizotto, Managing Partner of HBR, made the partnership official. This agreement signals a commitment to innovation and safety in the aerospace sector, placing both companies at the forefront of aviation technology in Brazil.
The collaboration aims to implement the Euroflir™ 410 system on Robinson helicopters, a high-precision airborne electro-optical system. This cutting-edge equipment is designed for critical missions, such as intelligence, protection, and search and rescue operations, using extremely high-resolution multispectral cameras.
