Senac Taboão da Serra released the offering more than four thousand scholarships of free technical courses for the year 2025, and also the launch of new courses. The initiative aims to expand opportunities for those who want professional qualifications and improve their resumes, increasing their chances in the job market.
As scholarships include free and open technical courses in various areas, such as Information Technology, Health, Fashion and Beauty, Gastronomy, Management and Business, as well as languages. The Senac Free Program, responsible for this initiative, has already benefited more than 1,5 million people over its 15 years of existence.
New courses and technical training available in 2025
Among the new features for 2025, Senac Taboão da Serra has included three new free technical courses in its curriculum:
- Take a free course at the Federal Institute! IFMS is offering free 100% distance learning courses in Marketing, Spanish, French, IT and more! All with a guaranteed certificate
- Unicamp opens registration for those who wish to pursue a master's or doctorate in Visual Arts
- Ministry of Education (MEC) opens registration for 100% free distance learning course in the area of Education; see how to register

Impact on employability
Internal studies by the National Department of Senac indicate that approximately 70% of students who complete technical courses at the institution are able to enter the job market within one year of graduating. According to the National Survey of Evaluation of Graduates of Senac, 86,4% of former students of non-formal and technical courses reported improvements in their professional performance. Other positive impacts identified include salary increases (34%), promotions (21,5%) and obtaining their first formal job (18,9%).
Application process and criteria for obtaining scholarships
Those interested in professional qualification should follow the registration calendar at Senac's website and apply 20 days before the course start date, always at noon. Places for free technical courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, using a virtual queue. To participate in the free program, it is necessary to prove a monthly family income of up to two federal minimum wages per person.
