Enseada Shipyard resumes work on major projects in the naval industry, generating hundreds of jobs and boosting the Brazilian economy

Enseada Shipyard, located in the metropolitan region of Salvador, is ready to resume its activities with a great impact on Brazilian naval industry. O project involves the construction of barges, essential transport vessels for the sector, and will have the collaboration of four Brazilian shipyards from the North and Northeast regions. This resumption of Enseada, one of the largest shipyards in the country, marks an important step forward.

With a focus on innovation and job creation, the project will be executed in partnership with Tenenge and promises to create about 300 new direct jobs e 900 indirect, bringing significant development to Recôncavo Baiano. In total, 80 barges, each with the capacity to transport 2.900 tons of products, boosting the local and national economy.

In addition to strengthening the industry, the Enseada Shipyard represents one of the largest private investments in the naval sector, totaling approximately USD 1 billion already invested in infrastructure and technology. With a strategic location in Maragojipe-BA, the industrial complex has the capacity to process 100 thousand tons of steel per year, also having a pier 1.000 meters, ideal for large works and shipbuilding projects.

This return of activities in Enseada Shipyard not only benefits the marine industry, but also generates a positive socioeconomic impact on the regions involved. This includes the creation of new jobs, stimulating the local economy and revitalizing the shipbuilding production chain.

Enseada Shipyard remains a reference in shipbuilding projects in Brazil, consolidating its position as one of the main drivers of the country's industrial and technological development.
