Sinop Energia Profile
Sinop Energia is responsible for the construction and operation of the Sinop Hydroelectric Power Plant (UHE). The company is a special purpose entity formed by shareholders EDF Brasil (51%) and Eletrobras (49%). With an installed capacity of 401,88 MW and located on the Teles Pires River, the project generates clean and renewable energy for half of the state of Mato Grosso.
