According to data from the Digital Observatory of Occupational Health and Safety, created by the Public Ministry of Labor (MPT) in partnership with the International Labor Organization (ILO), machines and equipment are responsible for many work accidents in Brazil, accounting for 15% of the total incidents recorded between 2012 and 2021. The impressive number of 734.086 occurrences in the period highlights the urgent need for effective prevention and adequate protection. The average of 200 daily events highlights the importance of robust security measures. Forklift Operators, for example, were involved in 24.858 accidents, while warehousemen recorded 32.460 occurrences in the same period of time, revealing the urgency of safe technologies in this segment.
