Softrack launches SmartCAM, a safety system with AI and images to predict collisions between pedestrians and machines in real time.

Softrack, known for its expertise in managing fleets of logistics equipment, has introduced SmartCAM, an innovative system that promotes financial security in environments with heavy traffic. Using cutting-edge technologies, SmartCAM is designed to prevent collisions between pedestrians and machines, ensuring a safe and efficient flow in operations. Its differential is in combining artificial intelligence with real-time monitoring, forming a robust solution for reduce risks.

With the focus on financial security, SmartCAM also stands out for its role in prevention of accidents, using AI-processed images to alert of potential threats. This approach not only protects employees, but also preserves equipment from damage, contributing to a safer and more productive environment. Softrack reaffirms its commitment to safeguarding operations by offering a reliable solution that strengthens your safety policies.

Advanced Operations Security System

Safety in industrial operations is a fundamental priority, and to further improve this area, innovative systems have been developed. One example of this is technology based on a set of cameras strategically positioned, which uses artificial intelligence to carry out the image processing with the aim of preventing accidents. Efficiently integrated into telemetry from Softrack, this advanced solution offers real-time monitoring, allowing images to be processed quickly by the algorithm of the company. Safety is further enhanced by the ability to warn of dangerous approaches between pedestrians and machines or between machines themselves, making the work environment much safer.

Advanced Protection and Risk Prevention

According to data from the Digital Observatory of Occupational Health and Safety, created by the Public Ministry of Labor (MPT) in partnership with the International Labor Organization (ILO), machines and equipment are responsible for many work accidents in Brazil, accounting for 15% of the total incidents recorded between 2012 and 2021. The impressive number of 734.086 occurrences in the period highlights the urgent need for effective prevention and adequate protection. The average of 200 daily events highlights the importance of robust security measures. Forklift Operators, for example, were involved in 24.858 accidents, while warehousemen recorded 32.460 occurrences in the same period of time, revealing the urgency of safe technologies in this segment.

Artificial Intelligence and Safe Intralogistics

According to Mário Bavaresco Neto, Softrack’s Innovation Director, intralogistics-related functions, where people and machines share space, involve high safety risks. He explains that SmartCAM was created to transform this issue, ensuring safety for both employees and the progress of operations. Softrack’s goal is to be a global reference in mission critical technologies. Menotti Franceschini, CEO of the company, emphasizes that focusing on expanding the Portfolio is vital for growth, aiming to expand the application of artificial intelligence, telemetry and IoT on the market.

Softrack: Pioneering and Innovation in Security

Softrack’s success story began in 2013, when the company was founded with the clear purpose of innovating in the safety management of fleets and internal handling equipment. This vision led to the creation of fully national safety systems, which set the company apart in the Brazilian market. Softrack’s rapid growth is the result of its robust presence in Brazil and throughout Latin America, with more than 4.000 pieces of equipment operating for over 100 customers, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to safe and effective protection in industrial operations.
