Suzano is hiring for its new paper mill. The company is investing R$650 million in the project, which promises to boost the regional economy and create job opportunities in several areas.

With the promise of boosting the local economy, Suzano announced the opening of new vacancies for its tissue paper factory under construction in Aracruz, Espírito Santo.

The colossal investment of R $ million 650 marks the expansion of the multinational in the tissue paper sector, covering the entire production chain, from eucalyptus cultivation to the final product, such as toilet paper.

The plant is already in an advanced stage of construction and production is expected to begin in first half of 2025But will this new unit bring real opportunities to local residents?

Expansion with direct impact on job creation

The Aracruz factory is part of Suzano's strategy to expand its tissue production in Brazil, bringing development and opportunities to the region.

In total, 60 thousand tons of paper are expected annually hygienic and other high absorption items.

This number is double the production of the company's unit in Cachoeiro, which began operating in 2021.

New vacancies opened by Suzano are aimed mainly at residents of the cities of Aracruz, João Neiva and Ibiraçu.

The company is looking to expand its team by 20 new employees in this second selection phase, scheduled to take place by November 3, 2024, according to the company.

This expansion not only represents a milestone for Suzano, but also the chance for local workers to gain stable positions in a growing sector.

Details of the selection process and requirements

In September, 30 candidates have already been hired to join the initial staff of the factory in Aracruz.

Now, in this second phase, Suzano will open space for more 20 new trainees, who will work directly in the production of tissue paper.

Those interested in participating must be over 18 years old, have completed high school and live in one of the three cities mentioned.

Furthermore, having completed a technical course is considered a differentiator for candidates.

The selection process includes both theoretical and practical training.

Theoretical training takes place at Senai in Aracruz, from 8 am to 17 pm, while practical training will be carried out at another Suzano unit.

This allows new hires to acquire the knowledge necessary to operate with tissue, a material that is highly absorbent and essential in the production of sanitary products.

Quality and cutting-edge technology: the factory's differential

The unit being built in Aracruz follows the model of another Suzano factory that already operates in Cachoeiro, with capacity to produce 30 thousand tons of tissue paper per year, which amounts to impressive 1 million rolls daily.

The Aracruz structure, however, will be even more robust, doubling the production of the Cachoeiro plant.

The tissue paper manufactured at this unit will be used for products such as toilet paper, and the factory will feature state-of-the-art technology to ensure high quality and efficiency in the process.

This is another step by Suzano in the process of verticalizing production, which reinforces its competitiveness and ensures that Espírito Santo remains on the radar of major investors in the industrial sector.

Deadline for registration and registration location

Those interested in joining this phase of Suzano's growth should register at official job site of the company until the day November 3th, 2024.

According to Suzano, hiring will be done under the CLT regime, with an initial training process that aims to develop specific skills for tissue production, adding quality to the process and valuing local labor.

A bet for the future of the region?

This mega investment in Aracruz represents a opportunity significant not only for the region's residents but also for the development of the local economy.

With a factory designed to become one of the largest in the sector in the country, Suzano demonstrates that it believes in Espírito Santo's potential to consolidate itself as a center of excellence in the paper and pulp sector.

But will this new factory be able to live up to expectations? Leave your opinion in the comments!
