NHSTA recommends recall of all Model X vehicles manufactured by Tesla from 2021 to 2023 due to brake system failures.

The United States National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHSTA) reported last Tuesday (17/10) that Tesla, a renowned car manufacturer, electric vehicles, will initiate a recall involving 54.676 units of its Model Dow Jones agency.

Defects in Tesla Model x vehicles compromise driver safety and require immediate intervention

According to NHSTA's analysis, the defects identified are not noticeable to the driver and represent a safety risk, thus motivating the recommendation to recall all Model X manufactured in the years mentioned.

This measure aims to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers, eliminating possible risk situations on the roads.

Tesla takes steps to fix identified issues

Tesla, upon becoming aware of the problems identified, acted promptly by releasing a free over-the-air (OTA) software update to resolve the flaws detected in the vehicles affected.

NHSTA highlights that the correction is now available, however, Tesla has not yet publicly commented on the case, keeping its customers and the public attentive to the next actions.

History of recalls highlights NHSTA's attention to the safety of this company's electric vehicles

This is not the first time NHSTA has requested a recall related to Tesla electric vehicles.

In previous episodes, the US regulatory agency investigated and requested the review of the automaker's vehicles due to various problems, reinforcing attention to safety issues in electric cars.

Tesla is closely monitored by NHSTA to ensure the safety and reliability of its products.

The automotive industry continues to evolve, and close monitoring by regulatory bodies is crucial to ensure the safety and quality of vehicles available on the market, whether from Tesla or other companies.
