Students who are regularly enrolled in the 9th grade of Elementary School in public institutions may participate in the IFSP selection process. However, those who have completed, even partially, elementary school in private educational institutions or who have studied in public schools outside Brazil are not entitled to the preparatory course or scholarships.
It is important to mention that schools in System S (Sesi, Senai, Sesc, Senac) do not belong to the Public Education Network. Therefore, candidates who have completed elementary school in these institutions are not entitled to the places reserved for the preparatory course.
