All opportunities are for positions that require higher education. The available positions are Environmental Analyst (113 vacancies), Administrative Analyst (27 vacancies) and Environmental Inspector (40 vacancies). The starting salary is R$5.118,52 for all positions. The competition is organized by the AOCP Institute. Details of the first IDEMA call for proposals
This is the first public tender carried out by IDEMA RN. The IDEMA announcement RN details the offer of 180 permanent vacancies. All positions are intended for professionals with completed higher education. The three positions offered are: Environmental Analyst, Administrative Analyst and Environmental Inspector. Registration and tests
It is essential that candidates pay attention to the main dates of the IDEMA announcement. The registration period will be from April 28 to June 06, 2025. Those who are entitled to exemption from the registration fee may request it between April 28 and May 02, 2025.
The registration fee is a single amount of R$150,00 and payment must be made by June 06, 2025. The objective and essay tests are scheduled to take place on July 27, 2025.
Structure of the objective test for the IDEMA RN competition
The first stage of evaluation of the IDEMA announcement This will be an objective test. This test will last 5 hours. It will consist of 60 multiple choice questions. Each question will have 5 alternatives, and only one will be correct. The subjects and number of questions are:
- Portuguese Language: 10 questions
- History of RN and Geoeconomic Aspects of RN: 5 questions
- Basic Computing: 5 questions
- Job-specific knowledge: 20 questions
- Federal and state environmental legislation: 20 questions
O IDEMA announcement establishes elimination criteria. The candidate will be eliminated if he/she scores zero in any area of knowledge, obtains less than 40% in General Knowledge, less than 50% in Specific Knowledge, or less than 60% in the total score of the objective test.
What will the writing test be like?
The second stage of the competition will be the Writing Test (Discursive). This stage also has an eliminatory and classificatory nature, according to the IDEMA announcement. The format of the test varies according to the position:
- Environmental Analyst: Preparation of 1 Technical Opinion on a case study in the training area.
- Environmental Inspector: Preparation of 1 Technical Report on a case study of the job duties.
- Administrative Analyst (except Journalist): Preparation of 1 Technical Opinion on a case study in the training area.
- Administrative Analyst – Journalist: Preparation of 1 Journalistic Text on a suggested topic.
The essay test will be assessed in two main aspects. The first is “Technical knowledge of the subject”, worth up to 20 points. The second is “Appropriate use of the Portuguese language”, worth up to 10 points. The maximum total score is 30 points. Important: get a zero score on the criterion of Portuguese Language results in a grade of zero in the entire discursive test, eliminating the candidate from IDEMA announcement.
