Access to housing in rural areas is a challenge faced by many Brazilian families. To expand housing opportunities, the Minha Casa, Minha Vida Rural program is being implemented in several cities in five states.
O Ministry of Cities authorized the construction of 569 new homes in the Rural modality of the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program. The measure, published in the Official Gazette this Wednesday (12), will benefit more than 2 thousand people in 14 municipalities in five states.
The cities are distributed throughout Pará, Rio Grande do Norte, Sergipe, Minas Gerais and Rio Grande do Sul
North and Northeast among those contemplated
In the North region, the state of Pará will receive 94 new units. There will be 50 homes in Santo Antônio do Tauá and 44 in Santarém Novo. Since 2023, 57.663 units have been selected for the region.

In the Northeast, Rio Grande do Norte will receive 134 homes. Japi will have 50 units, Jucurutu will receive 34 and Rafael Fernandes will have another 50.
In Sergipe, the municipality of Poço Verde will also benefit from 50 new homes. In total, between 2023 and 2025, 174.733 units were selected for the Northeast.
Minas Gerais will have the largest number of units
In the Southeast, Minas Gerais will have the more part of the housing of this new release.
The state will have 229 units, distributed between Aguanil (26), Arcos (11), Capitólio (62), Francisco Sá (50), Nepomuceno (30) and Rio Pardo de Minas (50).
Since the resumption of the program, 92.661 housing units have been selected for the Southeast region.
South will also benefit
In the South of the country, Rio Grande do Sul will receive 62 new units. There will be 50 homes for Redentora and 12 for São Lourenço do Sul. Since 2023, 31.141 housing units have been selected for the region.
The Rural modality of Minha Casa, Minha Vida is aimed at family farmers, rural workers and traditional communities.
The architectural design can be adapted to the needs of the field, respecting the environment and local conditions. Since 2023, 75 units have been selected for the program for rural areas throughout Brazil.
