A National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN) announced the long-awaited public tender of 2025, offering 150 vacancies to technical and higher levels.

The opportunities are spread across several states, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Federal District and Goiás.

Career opportunities and salaries

Available positions include Class B Researcher – Standard I, Science and Technology Analyst Class A – Standard I, and Class A Technologist – Standard I, focused on areas such as Management, Technical Governance, Regulation and Inspection.

Os wages vary according to training, with Class B Researcher requiring a doctorate and offering up to R$14.734,44 with bonuses.

For Technologists and Analysts, the salary can reach R$13.498,00, while Class A Technicians have remuneration of up to R$5.997,54.

Structure of the public tender

O selective process CNEN is divided into two main stages.

The first stage of the public competition includes objective, discursive, oral tests and the defense of a memorial, while the second is the evaluation of qualifications and professional experience, which is classificatory.

Each position has a specific set of tests to be carried out.

Test dates and locations

The objective and discursive tests are scheduled for April 27th 2025, in cities such as Belo Horizonte, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Brasília.

Candidates with the best performance in the objective test will be called for the following stages, such as oral tests and defense of memorial, depending on the position.

Registration and Fees

Registration will be open on the website IADES de February 18 a March 16th, 2025.

Fees vary: R$90,00 for Technicians, R$110,00 for Analysts and Technologists, and R$130,00 for Researchers. Candidates may request exemption from the fee according to the criteria set out in the notice.
