Petrobras awards the best supplier companies during OTC Brasil
Petrobras awarded the best supplier companies during OTC Brasil, an event that took place in Rio de Janeiro. The state company recognized 23 companies that stood out in different categories, in addition to rewarding eight companies for their commitment to ESG (environmental, social and governance) practices. The award took into account criteria such as quality, deadline, management, SMS (Safety, Environment and Health), compliance and integrity, in addition to alignment with social and environmental practices.
The director of Engineering, Technology and Innovation at Petrobras, Carlos Travassos, congratulated the award-winning companies, stating that they demonstrated excellence in serving Petrobras. He highlighted the importance of qualified partners close to the company's operations and invited everyone, whether awarded or not, to participate in Petrobras' promising future.
What were the categories awarded by Petrobras?
Companies were awarded awards in 21 categories, including subsea systems, umbilicals, flexible pipelines, anchoring equipment, launching flexible lines, operating marine rigs, drilling and completion equipment, drilling and completion services, offshore engineering work, engineering work onshore, air logistics, maritime logistics, land logistics, urban mobility, infrastructure and multiservices, industrial maintenance, chemical products, large machines and associated services, maintenance, repairs and operations, associated services, seismic data services and Information Technology services.

In addition, special awards were given in the areas of environment, safety, health, innovation, research and development, quality management, human rights, governance and decarbonization. The award is a recognition of suppliers who stood out both in their categories and in actions that are aligned with Petrobras' strategic objectives, such as ESG, environment, safety and quality issues.
Petrobras' Executive Supply Manager, Marina Quinderé, highlighted the importance of partnership with suppliers and the award as a way of recognizing joint work in designing the company's objectives.
During the awards ceremony, suppliers also participated in lectures on SMS, integrity, financial solutions for the supply chain and energy transition. These lectures were attended by representatives from Petrobras and BNDES.
The Best Suppliers Award was the highlight of the actions carried out by Petrobras during the OTC Brasil Conference. At the event, several technical lectures were held in the Supplier Space, at the company's stand. In addition, there was also “Pitch Day”, where the winning suppliers had the opportunity to present their success stories.
Petrobras reaffirms its commitment to recognizing and valuing the best suppliers, highlighting their importance for the company's success. A partnership with suppliers qualified and committed employees is fundamental to achieving Petrobras' strategic objectives, especially in relation to the energy transition and the search for sustainable solutions.
