The Central Bank presented, this Tuesday (24), the long-awaited commemorative coin for the 30th anniversary of the Real. In a gala-worthy celebration, the new R$1 coin was developed in partnership with Casa da Moeda do Brasil and promises to be an icon not only for its design, but because of the historical importance it carries.
The coin already born as an object of desire among collectors and citizens, recalling the three decades of the Real Plan, responsible for stabilizing the economy and bringing purchasing power back into the pockets of Brazilians.

With a design that blends tradition and modernity, the new commemorative coin for the 30th anniversary of the Real features, on its front, the already well-known effigy of the Republic, a symbol of sovereignty and progress, accompanied by diagonal lines that represent the strength of the Brazilian currency. The highlight is the golden border, where the phrases “30 Years of Real”, “1994-2024” and “Brazil” are inscribed, celebrating the legacy of three decades of stability.

On the reverse, the design follows the traditional pattern of the 1 real coin, with the constellation of the Southern Cross and a sphere that refers to the national flag. The value “1 real” and the year “2024” complete the design.
