A new public competition for the Federal Institute of SP has been published. There are 41 higher education vacancies open for the position of Basic, Technical and Technological Education Teacher. The remuneration of R$4,8 can increase to R$10 when added to the remuneration for title. In addition, those approved will also have benefits such as Food, Transport, Pre-school and Health Assistance.

Registration in the selection process takes place through the IFSP website between July 18th and September 2nd, 2024. The registration fee is R$190 and payment must be made, without delay, by September 4th. Registrations with payment made after this date will be rejected.
It is worth mentioning that the vacancies in the Federal Institute's public competition are distributed among the campuses Avaré, Boituva, Bragança Paulista, Campos do Jordão, Cubatão, Ilha Solteira, Itaquaquecetuba, Itapetininga, Miracatu, Pirituba, Presidente Epitácio, Registro, São Carlos, São João Boa Vista, São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Sorocaba, Suzano and Votuporanga.
According to the IFSP competition notice, the salary for the teaching position is R$4.875,18. This value can reach R$ 10.481,64, when added with remuneration for title. The remuneration for titling is divided as follows:
- Improvement: R$ 487,51;
- Specialization: R$ 975,04;
- Master's degree: R$ 2.437,59;
- Doctorate: R$5.606,46.
Stages of the Federal Institute public competition
Candidates will be evaluated through an objective test, test of didactic knowledge and test of titles. Lasting 4 hours, the assessment will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions, 15 questions relating to legislation and pedagogical knowledge and 25 questions pertinent to the area of knowledge. The tests are scheduled to take place on October 13, 2024.
The Didactic Performance Test time will be 45 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes for the panel's arguments. The lesson plan must be prepared in triplicate. This stage is scheduled to take place from November 23rd to December 1st of this year.
Finally, the qualifications test aims to evaluate the academic training and professional experience of candidates. They must submit their titles on the date of the Didactic Performance Test.
