Rio de Janeiro continues to lead the rise in the price of ethanol and gasoline fuels. Diesel also does not give relief to the pockets of cariocas and reaches R$ 5,451

The increase in the price of gasoline, diesel, CNG and ethanol does not give the consumer a break, and Rio de Janeiro is the state that has suffered the most from the increase in fuel prices. According to the most recent survey by the Ticket Log Price Index (IPTL), filling stations in the Southeast Region registered an increase of more than 10% for the price of ethanol in the first half of November.

In the regional balance, Rio de Janeiro continues to present a high scenario in relation to fuels. Both the most expensive ethanol and gasoline in Southeast Brazil were sold at gas stations in the state of Rio de Janeiro in the first days of November, with prices of R$ 6,346 and R$ 7,322, respectively. In São Paulo, in spite of the increase of 12,75% registered for the price of ethanol, the state had the lowest averages in the value of fuel – R$ 5,281. The cheapest gasoline was also found at gas stations in São Paulo, at R$ 6,430.

“With the significant increase in the average price of ethanol in the first days of November, gasoline ended up becoming the most advantageous option for drivers who refuel in the four states of the Southeast Region, according to a survey by Ticket Log”, points out Douglas Pina, Head of Urban Market by Edenred Brasil.

Diesel is not left out and reaches R$ 5,451

Diesel and S-10 diesel were sold at the highest average price at filling stations in Minas Gerais, at R$5,482 and R$5,561, respectively. In São Paulo, the common type had the lowest average at pumps, at R$ 5,313.

In Rio de Janeiro, the S-10 type was sold at R$5,398, the lowest average price in the region. In the regional balance, the first was sold at R$ 5,363 and the second at R$ 5,451.

To ease the pocket with the skyrocketing in the price of gasoline, ethanol, diesel and CNG, consumers turn to the Kit on the internet that promises a car powered by water with an initial value of less than R$ 200

The best of Brazil are the Brazilians, with the prices of gasoline, ethanol, diesel and CNG sky-high, there is no lack of advertisements for accessories that promise to reduce vehicle fuel consumption. The novelty on the internet is an apparatus that promises the conversion of conventional combustion engine cars, to be transformed into “water powered” cars, through a product known as a hydrogen kit.

The technology contraption offered on social networks and e-commerce sites has an initial price of less than R$200, but can exceed R$1.000, depending on the brand and configuration. But the promise is the same: the “technology” uses electricity from the alternator to extract hydrogen from water, which is stored in a small tank.

Is a car powered by water possible? Watch the video below to understand the process:
