New electric hypercar arrives on the Chinese market in two versions, delivering more than 1,2 horsepower and managing to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1,9 seconds.

“In the expanding universe of electric hypercars, the GAC Aion Hyper SSR It arrives impressively: 0 to 100 km/h in just 1,9 seconds! This Chinese novelty is redefining speed limits.

Electric hypercar delivers 1.225 horsepower

The electric car, presented at the Shanghai Motor Show 2023, began to be sold shortly after and, now, the first copies are reaching buyers. However, we will get to know the battery-powered supercar better, which promises performance equivalent to a Rimac Fridge, which costs the equivalent of R$12 million.

In this case, compared to NEVERA, the Chinese electric hypercar is a 'bargain'. GAC Aion is an automaker within the GAC group that focuses exclusively on electric cars. The brand produces and sells several models, including the most recent in the line, called Hyper SSR (Super Sport Race), which appears on a new generation of 900 volt platform, with a system efficiency of 94,5%.

GAC's new electric supercar is available in 2 versions, namely the Hyper SSR e Hyper SSR Ultimate. The models differ in some aesthetic details, equipment and above all performance.

Both equipped with three electric motors arranged, one at the front and two at the rear (Tesla Model S Plaid style), in the most powerful version, the powertrain releases 1.225 hp and 12 Nm of torque, enough to reach a top speed of more than 270 km/h.

Electric supercar hits the automotive market with prices starting at R$891 thousand

Equipped with an elegant body made entirely of carbon fiber, the car reflects the proportions of a classic mid-engine thermal sports car.

GAC's electric hypercar has a front spoiler and rear exhaust and, among its peculiarities, doors that open like an elytra, a bit like the Lamborghini with a 12-cylinder engine, to understand

On sale, for now only in China, the model costs 166.350 euros, the equivalent of R$891 reais in direct conversion, in the SRR version and 218 thousand euros, the equivalent of R$1.170 thousand, in the SSR Ultimate version.

These are numbers that make anyone pale, if we think that currently, for an electric car with equivalent performance, be it Lotus with the Evija or Rimac with the Nevera or Pininarina with the Battista, it is necessary to take into account no less than 2 million euros . At least, until Elon Musk decides to give the green light to the new Tesla Roadster.

New electric sports cars have 431 hp

Xiaomi has announced its first product that has just arrived and it is not a smartphone. This is the SSC SC-01, an electric sports car, however with the characteristics of classic combustion models. In Chinese, the sports model is called XiaoPaoChe, which, in Portuguese, is something similar to small sports car. Thus comes the acronym SSC. The model weighs just 1.370 kg due to its tubular steel chassis.

In this way, the 431 horsepower and the all-wheel drive offered by the two electric motors are enough to take the Xiaomi electric car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3,5 seconds. The Xiaomi model's batteries have a capacity of 60 kWh, with a declared range of 520 km and charging from 30 to 80% in 25 minutes.
