Opportunities for temporary doctors and technicians
Two main categories make up the selection process:
- Notice No. 08/2024 – Temporary Medical Officer (OMT): Open vacancies for medical professionals with specialization in specific areas, such as allergology, cardiology, infectology, psychiatry, pediatrics, among others.
- Notice No. 09/2024 – Temporary Technical Officer (OTT): Aimed at administration and law professionals who wish to enter a military career and apply their knowledge in a public service context.
Salaries for both categories range between R$6.933,00 and R$8.245,00, with benefits and stability that attract more and more interested parties.
Vacancies are available in several strategic cities in Minas Gerais, including Belo Horizonte, Juiz de Fora, Montes Claros, among others.
Who can apply?
To participate, candidates must meet specific criteria defined by the 4th Regional Regional Council. The basic requirements are: to be a Brazilian citizen, to have a degree in the requested area and to be no older than 40 years old for the OTT notice and 38 years old for the OMT notice.
This age limit is necessary to ensure that those approved are physically fit for the training and demands of a military career.
Furthermore, register requires payment of a fee of R$40,00, which must be paid by November 22, 2024.

Candidates who meet the low-income criteria or other specifications may apply for a fee waiver until November 12th.
Selection process steps
The selection process consists of several elimination stages, and candidates will undergo a comprehensive assessment before being appointed to the position. The stages include:
- Registration and analysis of documents: After paying the fee, the candidate must prove their academic and personal documentation to advance.
- Interview and curriculum analysis: The candidate's academic and professional experience will be carefully analyzed by a recruitment committee. This stage is eliminatory and classificatory, prioritizing those who best fit the required profile.
- Health inspection and physical fitness examination: All candidates will be required to undergo health assessments, in addition to a rigorous physical examination. For men, the fitness test includes performing 10 push-ups and running 1.800 meters in 12 minutes or less. For women, the test includes performing 6 push-ups and running 1.600 meters in the same time frame.Temporary Military.
- Practical tests: For some specific areas, such as some medical specializations, an additional practical test will be required to demonstrate specific skills and ensure that those selected can perform effectively in military demands.Temporary Military.
Cities of operation and validity of the process
The cities where successful candidates will work are distributed throughout Minas Gerais, including places such as Belo Horizonte, Itajubá, Juiz de Fora, Pouso Alegre, among others.
With this, the Army seeks not only to strengthen its team, but also to improve medical and legal assistance in all its regional bases.
It is worth noting that the selection process will be valid until July 1, 2025, or until a new notice is released, whichever occurs first.
