Toyota Corolla sold 10.913 units in just 4 months! no other model reaches the Corolla's numbers
According to Fenabrave, total sales in the first four months of 2024 were 10.913 units. Even with the disorder that the entity presents in its ranking of medium and large sedans, no other model reaches the Corolla's numbers.

When considering all medium and large sedans sold in Brazil, which total 18.965 units, it is clear that, excluding the Corolla, there are only 8.052 vehicles left. Therefore, not even the sum of 27 other cars can achieve what the Corolla can do with ease.
BYD Seal is the second best-selling midsize sedan in Brazil
In the rest of the ranking, there were significant changes. The BYD Seal, the second best-selling midsize sedan in the country, was behind the Nissan Sentra in March and maintained its position in April.
Sales were 380 units for the Japanese Sentra and 283 for the Chinese electric Seal. In total, the Seal registered 1.698 units sold, compared to 1.542 for the Sentra, with the difference narrowing each month. Next, the Volkswagen Jetta, with double the sales of the Honda Civic, which is fifth on the accumulated list.
It is worth noting that the VW Jetta, with its sporty GLI version, managed to double sales of the hybrid Honda Civic, which has a similar price. Meanwhile, the Chevrolet Cruze survives on the remaining stock, registering 116 units in April.
