Procedures for registering a diploma with the Order of Engineers
According to the Friendship Protocol, the procedures for registering the diploma with both the Order of Engineers of Portugal and CONFEA/CREA are quite similar. After delivery of all necessary documents e payment of registration fees and annual fees, registration validation usually takes around 30 days.
The documents required to register the diploma with the Order of Engineers of Portugal include duly completed official document, certified copy of professional card, certified copy of passport, color photograph, proof of residence in Portugal, copy of Citizen Card and NIF.
After gathering all the documents, access the OEP website, fill out the online application, schedule an appointment at the OE District Delegation, present the original documents, copies and pay the fees. Wait for the analysis and issuance of the Portuguese professional card.
