This Monday (17th), Vale opened enrollment for its Young Apprentice Program, in which the mining company offers several opportunities for access to the first job. There will be approximately 1.000 vacancies distributed in the states of Pará, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro. Vale stated that the Young Apprentice program is a great gateway to joining the company. Those who are interested in the Young Apprentice Program must be between 18 and 22 years old and have completed high school. It is worth noting that it is necessary for the candidate to apply for vacancies in the state in which he resides, even with several locations having 100% remote work. Another requirement at Vale is to be available for 6 hours a day to work.
In total, the Young Apprentice Program for Vale's first job will last two years, with access to practical and theoretical training content in the areas of administrative services, industrial electromechanics and equipment operation. Young people will be accompanied by technical advisors from Vale for most of their first job. The registration period runs until May 31.

Signing up is simple, just access the Vale website, go to the young apprentice option and select “Other vacancies in Brazil”. You will be redirected to another page, where you can select the city where you live.
Soon after, you will put some data about yourself, your experience, skills and some questions aimed at the Young Apprentice. You will be able to select up to three course options to learn, being electronics, electronics, applied logistics, buildings, welder, mechanics and electrical.

- Registration – May 17th to 31st;
- Reviews online (Profile test, Portuguese and Mathematics) – May;
- Group dynamic online - June;
- Virtual Panel with Managers – June and July;
- Admission medical exams – August and September;
- Disclosure of results – from September;
