In a pioneering initiative, SENAI DR/RN, together with EDP Renováveis and Vestas, is offering a free professional qualification course: Wind Energy Operational Assistant. With 56 places distributed between the municipalities of Jandaíra/RN and Guamaré/RN, this program is a gateway to the fastest growing energy sector in the world.
The course will be taught between April 15th and June 19th, by the Center for Gas Technologies and Renewable Energies (CTGAS-ER) of SENAI in Rio Grande do Norte, SENAI's main professional training center in Brazil focused on the wind sector. .

Free wind energy course includes practical training in turbines and maintenance of these giant renewable energy generators
During 180 hours of immersion, participants will receive not only theoretical knowledge but also practical training on turbines, providing a complete understanding of the operation and maintenance of these giant renewable energy generators.
Furthermore, the partnership with Vestas, a world leader in providing wind energy solutions, guarantees a privileged view of the job market in the area. Although there is no guarantee of employment after completing the course, the professionals' profiles will be considered in the selection processes of EDP Renováveis and Vestas, especially in the Operation and Maintenance department. In Jandaíra, registrations will be made at the City Hall, from 9am to 18pm, this Monday (April 1st). The calendar continues on 02/4, in the Tubibau Community (at the Catholic Church).
In Guamaré, registrations will take place on April 03rd and 04th at the city's CTG – Technological Center).
The selection process includes delivery of documents that prove compliance with the prerequisites; general knowledge test on wind energy and interview. The final result will be announced on April 05th and classes are scheduled for the period from April 4th to June 15th, from 04pm to 19pm.
