Vestas wins large order for wind turbines in Germany and boosts its business.

The group will supply eight wind turbines for the Dollenkamp project in the second quarter of 2025, with an AOM 4000 service contract. President of Vestas Vic.

BayWa has ordered eight V162-5,6MW wind turbines from Vestas for the Dollenkamp project in Brakel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The contract includes supply, delivery and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 20-year service contract to ensure optimized performance of the assets. Delivery of the turbines is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025, with commissioning scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025. The partnership between Vestas and BayWa r.e. reflects a shared vision for a sustainable future,’ said Sulai Fahimi, Vestas Vic president for sales in Central Europe.

Vestas secures firm order for Dollenkamp project in Germany

Vestas, a renewable energy company and manufacturer of wind turbines, secured a firm order for the Dollenkamp project in Germany. The company will supply and install 16 wind turbines for the project, with the delivery of turbines scheduled for the second quarter of 2025 and commissioning scheduled for shortly thereafter.

O service contract includes Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000), which aims to ensure optimized performance of wind turbines to maximize energy production. The president of Vestas Vic emphasized the importance of this order for the company, highlighting that it reinforces Vestas' sales position in Central Europe and contributes to the German energy transition.
