The 2024 Volkswagen Taos SUV is cheaper than ever. Compare with Chinese SUVs and find out why Taos is the best option!
The 2024 Volkswagen Taos is cheaper than ever! After an increase at the end of last year, Volkswagen decided to lower prices for the Taos, making it more competitive in the mid-size SUV market. And the top-of-the-line version, the Highline, had the biggest drop, becoming up to R$6.400 cheaper.
This price change indicates that Volkswagen is determined to increase sales of the Taos. With fierce competition from Chinese SUVs, such as BYD and GWM, the brand decided to make the Taos an even more attractive option for Brazilian consumers.
Lower values and previous readjustments
The entry-level version, Comfortline, was reduced by R$4.900, from R$186.280 to R$181.380. Highline had an even greater drop, of R$6.400, going from R$212.480 to R$205.980. These values compensate for last year's adjustments, when the model became more expensive.
