How does factory shielding work?
The armoring offered by Volkswagen is carried out in partnership with two specialized companies: VRZ and Hi-Tech.
These companies are responsible for installing ballistic protection in vehicles. One of the main benefits of this partnership is that the vehicle's warranty is preserved even after armoring.
The warranty for opaque parts in the passenger compartment is 10 years, while the bulletproof glass has a 6-year warranty. These warranties are valid from the date of purchase of the vehicle.
Customers interested in purchasing an armored vehicle can make the purchase at any Volkswagen dealership in Brazil and request armoring at the time of purchase.
The armored vehicle is delivered at the same dealership where the purchase was made. The estimated delivery time for the armored vehicle is approximately 40 days after the delivery of the necessary documentation.
