Opportunity for training and financial incentive
With limited vacancies in several Brazilian cities, the “Escola Técnica Atlas Schindler” program offers a monthly scholarship of R$1.410 and aims to qualify new professionals to work in elevator maintenance.
This course has a workload of 30 hours per week and lasts four months, combining theoretical classes with field practices.
Teaching modules and program content
The course is structured into four main modules, which cover everything from safety in the workplace to specific elevator controls.
According to Atlas Schindler's schedule, content is distributed to ensure that students leave with a comprehensive and practical overview of the different aspects of elevator maintenance.
First module
Students will be exposed to occupational safety issues, with an emphasis on important regulatory standards, such as NR18 (construction safety), NR10 (electricity safety) and NR35 (working at height).
Second module
This stage of the course focuses on understanding elevator components, as well as offering training in preventative maintenance.
Third module
The safety of elevator users is the main issue, with emphasis on checking and adjusting essential parts.
Fourth module
Finally, students will learn about electrical circuits and controls, expanding their technical knowledge.
In addition to these modules, students have the chance to experience field work, accompanying Atlas Schindler professionals and applying the knowledge acquired in real situations.
Incentive grant and performance requirements
Participants approved in the Atlas Schindler selection process receive a grant of R$1.410 per month, throughout the course.
To receive the certificate at the end of the program, it is necessary to fulfill a series of requirements.
Students must obtain at least 70% performance in the assessments of each module, in addition to attending full theoretical classes and at least 90% in practical classes, with some justifiable absences.
Prerequisites and ideal candidate profile
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have completed high school, in addition to technical training or ongoing training in the electrical or mechanical areas, with proof of completion of at least 50% of the course.
