Atlas Schindler launches a free technical course for elevator maintenance with a scholarship. With four theoretical and practical modules, the course covers everything from workplace safety to specific electrical controls for elevators.

Few people realize that the complexity of elevators requires qualified professionals and, more than that, professionals who are attentive to safety.

Without adequate technical preparation, even the simplest routine with this equipment can put lives at risk.

And now, Atlas Schindler, one of the largest elevator companies in the country, has opened vacancies for a free technical course focused precisely on training new specialists in elevator maintenance.

Opportunity for training and financial incentive

With limited vacancies in several Brazilian cities, the “Escola Técnica Atlas Schindler” program offers a monthly scholarship of R$1.410 and aims to qualify new professionals to work in elevator maintenance.

This course has a workload of 30 hours per week and lasts four months, combining theoretical classes with field practices.

Teaching modules and program content

The course is structured into four main modules, which cover everything from safety in the workplace to specific elevator controls.

According to Atlas Schindler's schedule, content is distributed to ensure that students leave with a comprehensive and practical overview of the different aspects of elevator maintenance.

First module

Students will be exposed to occupational safety issues, with an emphasis on important regulatory standards, such as NR18 (construction safety), NR10 (electricity safety) and NR35 (working at height).

Second module

This stage of the course focuses on understanding elevator components, as well as offering training in preventative maintenance.

Third module

The safety of elevator users is the main issue, with emphasis on checking and adjusting essential parts.

Fourth module

Finally, students will learn about electrical circuits and controls, expanding their technical knowledge.

In addition to these modules, students have the chance to experience field work, accompanying Atlas Schindler professionals and applying the knowledge acquired in real situations.

Incentive grant and performance requirements

Participants approved in the Atlas Schindler selection process receive a grant of R$1.410 per month, throughout the course.

To receive the certificate at the end of the program, it is necessary to fulfill a series of requirements.

Students must obtain at least 70% performance in the assessments of each module, in addition to attending full theoretical classes and at least 90% in practical classes, with some justifiable absences.

Prerequisites and ideal candidate profile

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have completed high school, in addition to technical training or ongoing training in the electrical or mechanical areas, with proof of completion of at least 50% of the course.

Atlas Schindler emphasizes that students must be available to study in person from Monday to Friday, from 07:30 am to 13:30 pm, as detailed in the notice.

Locations and number of vacancies by city

Atlas Schindler has vacancies for several locations in Brazil, including the cities of Fortaleza (5 vacancies), Recife (10), Vitória (4), Cuiabá (4), Maceió (2), Belo Horizonte (10), Rio de Janeiro (4), São José do Rio Preto (4), Santos/ABC (4), São Paulo (25), Curitiba (8), Aracaju (2) and Cascavel (4).

Selection process steps

The selection process consists of several stages. First, the company analyzes whether the candidates meet the basic prerequisites.

Those selected undergo a technical test and then a personal interview and profile assessment.

During this phase, activities and dynamics are carried out to assess the candidates’ aptitude.

After approval, those selected must send data and documents between December 13, 2024 and January 10, 2025.
