Registration is now open for free courses at the Federal Institute! There are 690 places available for young people from all over Rio Grande do Norte who dream of qualifying.

The Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) announced the opening of applications for 690 vacancies in free courses aimed at the professional qualification of young people. The opportunity is an excellent chance for those seeking to develop technical skills and prepare for the job market. Registration began on Wednesday (18) and will run until October 9.

Requirements required by the Federal Institute

Os courses The free courses offered by the Federal Institute are intended for young people between the ages of 16 and 29 on the date classes start. However, there are some specific requirements for certain courses.

For example, for courses that require more advanced technical knowledge, such as Renewable Energy Systems Electrician, candidates must be at least 18 years old.

In addition to the age range, interested parties must be registered in the Federal Government's Single Registry and have completed elementary school.

These requirements aim to ensure that students have a minimum knowledge base to make the most of the courses offered.

Free courses available at the Federal Institute

Os courses will be offered at several IFRN campuses, covering different areas of training. Here are some of the courses available:

  • Apodi Campus: Operator of Agricultural Machinery and Implements (200 hours), Tour Guide in Conservation Units (200 hours).
  • Caico Campus: Renewable Energy Systems Electrician (200 hours), Digital Media Application Developer (240 hours), Computer Assembler and Repairer (200 hours).
  • Mossoro Campus: Building Maintenance Assistant (200 hours), Renewable Energy Systems Electrician (200 hours).
  • Natal Campus: Audio Recording and Editing Operator (240 hours), Cultural Agent (200 hours), Salesperson (200 hours).
  • Other Campuses: Web Programmer and Salesperson courses in various locations.

In addition to the courses listed, the Federal Institute also informs that the Agricultural Machinery and Implement Operator course is aimed especially at young people in family farming.

To register and compete for open positions, candidates must present a declaration of membership in a family farming union or cooperative.

How to apply?

To participate and compete for vacancies, interested parties must access the Young Potiguar website, where the application form is available.

O Federal Institute process It is completely online and requires the candidate to fill in information such as full name, CPF, cell phone number and email.

It is essential that the candidate also declares, when applicable, whether he/she has completed elementary education, whether he/she is a former socio-educational system graduate and whether he/she is a transgender person.

The list of pre-registered candidates and the results of the selection process will be announced on October 22, also on the Jovem Potiguar project page.

The Young Potiguar project

O project Jovem Potiguar is an initiative that involves IFRN, the Ministry of Labor and Employment, and the State Secretariat for Women, Youth, Racial Equality and Human Rights (SEMJIDH).

The project's objective is to serve up to 1,5 young people, promoting professional qualification and skills development.

This is the first phase of the project, which is aligned with the Manuel Querino Program, with the proposal to develop social and professional qualification actions.

The courses not only aim to prepare young people for the job market, but also provide political training and the promotion of creative life projects.

Thus, Jovem Potiguar aims to contribute to the comprehensive training of participants, facilitating access and permanence in the world of work.
