IFRN is offering 175 free places for postgraduate studies in Environmental Education and Geography of the Semiarid Region. Professionals from all areas can participate.
If you have an undergraduate degree and want to expand your academic horizons, the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) just opened 175 vacancies for those who want to delve into two of the most relevant topics of today:

The registration period runs until the end of October, and classes begin in the first semester of 2025. A special detail: professionals from all areas can participate.

Vacancies distributed across several cities and with in-person support
According to the IFRN notice, the 175 vacancies are divided between in-person support centers located in Canguaretama, thick, slabs, Luis Gomes, Pairs e Christmas.
Even though it is a distance learning course, some in-person activities will be necessary, as required by Decree No. 9.057/2017, and scheduled in advance by the coordinator.
The difference here is that the course is carried out in partnership with Open University of Brazil (UAB), which brings a consolidated structure to distance learning, ensuring that training has nationally recognized quality.
Registration Schedule and Fee
If you're already eyeing this opportunity, don't waste time! Registration starts on October 02 and go to October 30th, 2024, being carried out exclusively in the Candidate Portal of the IFRN.
The registration fee is R$80,00, and payment of the bill must be made by the day October 31. According to IFRN, Applications will not be accepted after this date..
Evaluation criteria and selection process
The selection process for these vacancies will be by resume analysis, prioritizing candidates with professional experience in areas such as teaching e public Management.
Public school teachers, for example, can conquer up to 30 points per semester of work.
Public servants and basic education professionals in private networks also accumulate points, with the maximum score for analysis being 100 points.
If there is a tie, the criterion of older age will be used to break the tie, according to the Elderly Statute. Performance in teaching, if the first solution does not resolve the tie.
Results and procedures for enrollment
The preliminary result will be released on the day November 29th, 2024, and approved candidates must pre-register online on the Candidate Portal.
Furthermore, any remaining vacancies will be filled through additional calls until the beginning of the 2025 academic semester.
It is important to remember that candidates who self-declare black, brown, indigenous ou quilombolas will need to go through the procedure of heteroidentification, conducted by a specialized committee.
If there are inconsistencies in the statements or lack of supporting documentation, the candidate may be eliminated from the process.
