IFPE offers 550 free and distance learning specialization spots in the areas of Management, Distance Education and Science Teaching. The courses are distributed across several centers in the state and include curriculum analysis.

Offered in partnership with the MEC's Open University of Brazil (UAB) program, the specializations include three courses:
Management in Professional and Technological Education, Distance Education in Professional and Technological Education e Science Teaching “Science is a 10!”.
In total, there are 550 vacancies distributed across several cities in Pernambuco and Santana do Ipanema, in Alagoas.
According to information in the notice published by IFPE, the courses cover different professional profiles and aim to develop specific skills for working in educational institutions and in strategic roles.
Who can enroll in specializations
Each of the specializations has specific criteria for registration, as guided in the notice:
- Management in Professional and Technological Education (EPT)
Aimed at graduates in any field, preferably those who already work or wish to work in public education management roles, such as pedagogical coordination, teaching supervision and school management.

- Distance Education in Professional and Technological Education
Also aimed at graduates in any field, this specialization focuses on professionals who already work or are interested in working in Professional and Technological Education in the distance learning modality.

- Science Teaching “Science is a 10!”
Aimed at teachers with degrees recognized by the MEC, who already teach in the areas of Natural Sciences in Basic Education.

Selection process and evaluation criteria
The selection process will be carried out in a simplified manner, based on curriculum analysis.
The criteria include candidates' academic background, professional experience, participation in academic events and volunteer activities.
IFPE highlights that this format facilitates access for interested parties and allows for a fair selection tailored to the profile of each course.
To participate, the candidate must send the necessary documentation and complete the registration form within the stipulated deadline, as specified in the notice.
The registration fee is R$50, but there is a possibility of exemption for members of the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and low-income families.
Distribution of places and teaching centers
The vacancies are distributed across hubs in several cities in Pernambuco: The following are the main cities of the state of Bahia:. In addition to these municipalities, the Santana do Ipanema hub, in Alagoas, will also offer vacancies, allowing professionals from the region to expand their possibilities for qualification and professional performance.

Registration period and how to guarantee fee exemption at IFPE
Registration for IFPE's free specializations begins in 01 November and go to 25 November.
To guarantee exemption from the fee, candidates registered with CadÚnico must make the request between November 01st and 08th, through the official IFPE website.
