Federal Institute offers 240 places in free technical courses. Study with a subsidy of R$360 and obtain your certificate!
The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) announced the opening of registrations for free technical courses aimed at young people and adults, starting in the second semester. To the registrations are available until June 3 and cover several locations, including Aquidauana, Campo Grande, Coxim, Jardim and Três Lagoas.
are being offered 240 vacancies for technical courses in Administration, Buildings, Internet Computing and IT Maintenance and Support. All courses will be taught in the evening. The selection of participants will be carried out through an electronic draw.
The free technical courses are detailed in two different notices, published in the IFMS Selection Center:
- Notice no. 086/2023: Targeted at subsequent technical courses for candidates who already have a high school diploma.
- Notice no. 087/2023: Aimed at technical courses integrated into secondary education, in the Youth and Adult Education (Proeja) modality, aimed at individuals over 18 years of age who have completed primary education.
For Proeja students, the IFMS offers monthly grants of more than R$360, financed by the Scholarship-Training program (EJA-EPT) of the Secretariat of Professional and Technological Education (Setec) of the Ministry of Education (MEC).

Half of the places are reserved for students from public schools
Half of the places are reserved for students from public schools, with additional quotas for candidates with low per capita family income, self-declared black, mixed race and indigenous people, and people with disabilities. Candidates selected by quotas must prove their eligibility at the time of registration, under penalty of reclassification.

Registration
The registration process must be done online via Candidate Page in the Selection Center, where interested parties must provide personal information, choose the desired course and shift, and decide whether they will compete for widely competitive vacancies or through quotas. A confirmation email will be sent to the candidate's registered email address upon completion of registration.
