The Federal Institute's free Therapeutic Assistant course has 200 places for training in behavioral intervention for ASD, starting in August.

This Tuesday, (30/07), the Federal Institute of Rondônia (IFRO) has open registration for the course Therapeutic Assistant, focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 200 places are offered for the Initial and Continuing Training Course (FIC), which will start in August 2024. This free course aims to prepare professionals to work in behavioral intervention in different everyday contexts, such as in the family, in the school environment and in the workplace.

Structure and modality of the free course at the Federal Institute

O course The free course will have a total workload of 160 hours and will be offered in hybrid mode. This means that activities will be divided between the virtual environment and in-person meetings.

Students will be able to participate in classes remotely, but will need to attend in-person meetings that will take place at the IF — Campus Vilhena, located in Vilhena, Rondônia.

  • The Professional Therapeutic Companion — 10 hours.

This structure was developed to provide complete and comprehensive training, covering everything from theoretical aspects to practical strategies for intervention in ASD.

Selection process and registration

Interested parties must register for the free course by August 14, 2024. Registration can be done online, through the official website of the Federal Institute.
