  • Um production center with more than 84 thousand m² for innovative anti-obesity drugs;
  • Significant expansions at existing Roche facilities in Arizona, Indiana, New Jersey and California.

The multinational reported that these measures aim to strengthen its capacity to meet the demand for rapid diagnostics, advanced therapies and personalized medicines in the United States.

More than 12 thousand jobs will be created directly and indirectly

According to the Roche statement, the more than 12 thousand new jobs will be distributed as follows:

  • 1.000 direct vacancies in the company's new factories, laboratories and logistics units;
  • 6.500 jobs in the construction sector, to make ongoing works viable;
  • 4.500 indirect positions in areas such as technical support, supply chain, transportation and services.

The company also reported that there will be opportunities at different qualification levels, from production line workers to PhD researchers, data analysts, engineers and information technology professionals.
