The Federal Institute of Sertão Pernambucano offers a free and 100% distance learning course in Educational Technologies with 120 places available.

The Federal Institute of Sertão Pernambucano (IFSerãoPE) announced the opening of registrations for the Free course Training in Educational Technologies for Innovative Education, completely free and offered in the distance learning (EAD) modality. The initiative is regulated by Notice 20/2024 and aims to train education professionals interested in improving their knowledge in the use of technologies aimed at teaching.

Job vacancies at the Federal Institute and areas of activity

O course, scheduled to start in 2024, appears as an opportunity for professionals working in the educational field who wish to update and expand their skills, especially in an increasingly digital context.

With a focus on methodologies that integrate innovation and technology into the teaching-learning process, the Federal Institute aims to contribute to the training of a more qualified workforce prepared for the challenges of contemporary education.

The Educational Technologies Training course offered by IFSerãoPE will have 120 places available, which will be distributed among different areas of activity.

The vacancies will be divided as follows: 30 for Afrânio, 30 for Cabrobó, 30 for Lagoa Grande, and 30 for employees of the Federal Institute itself.

The regional distribution of vacancies aims to meet a broad demand, promoting access to training in different areas of Sertão Pernambucano.

The course will have a total workload of 160 hours, with all activities carried out remotely.

This configuration facilitates the participation of professionals who, for geographical or time reasons, would not be able to attend face-to-face classes.

Synchronous classes, that is, held in real time, will take place weekly on Thursdays, from 20 pm to 22 pm, allowing participants to reconcile their professional activities with their studies.

Federal Institute selection process and application criteria

Entries for the course of Educational Technologies are now open and can be carried out until September 11, 2024.

The process is completely free and must be done through the official website of the Instituto Federal do Sertão Pernambucano.

All candidates interested in participating in the course must register within this deadline to ensure the possibility of competing for one of the vacancies offered.

The selection process will be carried out through an Electronic Draw, a transparent and democratic form of selection that will occur if the number of applicants exceeds the limit of available vacancies.

This measure aims to ensure that all candidates have equal opportunities to participate in the course. In cases of a tie, the tiebreaker criterion will be the oldest age of the applicants, as stipulated in the notice.

The use of an electronic draw also facilitates the selection logistics, since the course is offered remotely, allowing candidates from different regions of the country to participate without the need to travel.

This reinforces the Federal Institute’s commitment to democratizing access to quality professional training.

Objectives and impact of the free course on education

The main objective of the Training in Educational Technologies for Innovative Education course is to train education professionals in the efficient use of technologies in the teaching and learning process.

In an increasingly digitalized world, mastery of technological tools becomes essential for teachers, coordinators and other professionals working in educational environments.

The activities of course will be focused on the development of skills that allow the integration of new technologies into pedagogical practices, promoting a more dynamic and innovative education.

The proposal is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge to use digital tools strategically, improving the quality of teaching and making classes more interactive and attractive for students.

Furthermore, the course also aims to prepare professionals to deal with the challenges of distance learning, a modality that has expanded significantly in recent years, especially after the pandemic.

At the end of the training, participants will be able to apply the knowledge acquired in different educational contexts, from basic education to higher education.

The impact of the course goes beyond the classroom, as by training more qualified and up-to-date professionals, the Federal Institute contributes to the improvement of education as a whole, directly benefiting students and, consequently, society.
