Vacancies, remuneration and inclusion criteria
UFRR, in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), made available 40 vacancies for reserve registration.
Selected professionals will receive a monthly grant of R$1.100, granted by CAPES, to act as tutors in the extension course.
To ensure diversity and inclusion in higher education, the university established that 25% of the vacancies will be reserved for black, mixed race, indigenous candidates, people with disabilities, as well as transgender and transvestite individuals.
The measure follows the CAPES Ordinance No. 309/2024, which seeks to promote equal opportunities in the academic and professional environment.
What will the course and tutors do?
The extension course offered by UFRR will have 120 hours of workload and will be taught entirely remotely.
Classes will take place synchronously and asynchronously, that is, some activities will require real-time participation, while others may be carried out according to the student's availability.
The platform used will be Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), developed by the Information Technology and Educational Media Laboratory of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG).
The selected tutors will play an essential role in supporting students and acting as intermediaries between students and teachers. Their main responsibilities include:
- Mediate communication between students and teaching staff.
- Monitor student development according to the course schedule.
- Assist teachers in carrying out pedagogical activities.
- Maintain frequent contact with students to clarify doubts and ensure engagement.
- Carry out assessments and prepare monthly monitoring reports.
Who can participate in the selection process?
To compete for one of the vacancies, interested parties must meet some requirements: mandatory requirements. Check the required criteria:
- Have higher education in any field.
- Availability of 20 hours per week to work online, in morning, afternoon or night shifts.
- Mastery of technological tools and the internet.
- Be up to date with electoral justice.
Previous experience in the field of education may be a differentiator in the curriculum analysis, which will be the only criterion for evaluating candidates.
How will the selection be made?
The selection process will take place in single phase, composed of curriculum analysis of the candidates. Scoring will be based on the following criteria:
- Graduation diploma: 10 points.
- Postgraduate, specialization or improvement in the area of Special Education: 15 points.
- Experience as a teacher in Basic Education: 0,5 points per year of service.
- Participation in Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies Centers (NEAB/NEABI): 0,5 points per year of service.
- Previous experience in Distance Education: 0,5 points per year of service.
To ensure approval, the candidate must obtain a minimum score of 50 points.
