Yamaha's new motorcycle arrives to revolutionize the Brazilian market with an initial price of R$17. The Yamaha Fluo 125 hybrid motorcycle has a consumption of 49,3 km/l.
Hybrid motorcycles are not yet so common in the Brazilian market that it is only now that Brazil is gaining an electrified option. This is the new Yamaha Fluo 125 Hybrid 2026 hybrid motorcycle, which is not only the first scooter in the country to have the help of an electric motor, but is also the first motorcycle considering all categories. In this article, we will learn about the new Yamaha motorcycle that is arriving on the Brazilian market.
New hybrid motorcycle – Yamaha Fluo 125 delivers 8,3 hp of power
Offered as the top-of-the-line Fluo 125 version, Yamaha's new motorcycle will be sold for R$16.690, an increase of R$1.400 over the R$15.290 charged for the Connected version, which is not electrified.
The technology chosen was the mild hybrid, using a motor-generator instead of the alternator, which recovers energy during braking and gives a small assistance to the combustion engine of the hybrid motorcycle in some situations, such as starting, accelerating and restarting more heavily.

It is worth noting that with Yamaha's new motorcycle it is not possible to ride in electric mode only, as the system does not move the wheels and the battery is too small for this. According to the brand, the electric motor operates continuously for only three seconds, however, it did not reveal the power or torque generated.
However, it's not much, considering that the Yamaha Fluo 125 hybrid motorcycle uses a 125cc single-cylinder engine that generates 8,3 hp at 7.000 RPM and 1 kgfm at 5.000 RPM, which is a reduction of 1,2 hp compared to the previous model. The transmission is automatic CVT type.
Yamaha's new motorcycle does up to 49,3 km/l
The fuel consumption figures for the Yamaha Fluo 125 hybrid motorcycle were not disclosed by the Japanese manufacturer, stating only that the hybrid version is up to 12% more efficient. Therefore, taking into account that the regular version can deliver 44,1 km/l, the new Yamaha motorcycle can reach 49,3 km/l, as long as it is in ideal conditions.
Like all vehicles with a mild hybrid system, the focus is not on reducing consumption, but rather on the polluting gases emitted by the engine, in order to meet emissions standards.
The Scooter also has a telescopic front suspension with 90 mm of travel, while the rear has 88 mm of travel, connected to 12-inch wheels and tubeless tires. The Yamaha Fluo 125 also delivers disc brakes on the front wheel and drum brakes on the rear, also using an ABS system.
Design and technologies present in Yamaha's hybrid motorcycle
The optical set has been completely updated, with new high and low beam headlights, and the position light is LED. The new taillight and the new turn signals with crystal-colored lenses complete the look. The seat length of the Fluo 2025 has been increased to ensure more ergonomics.
The Yamaha Fluo 125 2025 has an Underbone chassis and measures 1.875 mm in length, 690 mm in width and 1.115 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1.280 mm, minimum ground clearance of 135 mm and seat height of 780 mm.
The equipment list includes an instrument panel with LCD screen, LED headlights, a start-stop system for the engine, and a USB-A port. Yamaha also included the Y-CONNECT, a system that allows you to connect the scooter to an app on your cell phone and check information such as battery and oil levels, fuel consumption and the location of the motorcycle.
There I liked it, congratulations to Yamaha
Top. For those who travel a lot in the city it will help a lot, I have a question, what is the capacity of the fuel tank?
But it's still not enough, my biz 110 with a full tank runs 240 km without forcing it, of course.
