From now on, 5 Wilson Sons tugboats will be allocated in Terminal 1 operations at Porto do Açu (RJ), ensuring greater efficiency and safety in Açu Petróleo operations
Açu Petróleo signed an agreement that aims to fully and exclusively allocate 05 tugboats from Wilson Sons in the operations of Terminal 1 of Porto do Açu, located in São João da Barra, Rio de Janeiro. Açu Petróleo and Petrobras signed a contract to increase the volume of oil barrels shipped through the private terminal of the state-owned company in Porto do Açu.

The announcement was made today (14) by the company Açu Petróleo, through its official communication networks. “The satisfaction of our customers is our priority, and we are continually looking for solutions to increase the availability of our Terminal”, said the company.

Açu Petróleo and its operations at the Port of Açu, in Rio de Janeiro
Açu Petróleo, a partnership between Bob and Oiltanking, is dedicated to providing safe, efficient and sustainable oil handling infrastructure and services. Since 2016, the company has operated the oil terminal (T-OIL) located in Porto do Açu, the largest port-industry complex in the country.
Licensed to handle 1,2 million barrels per day and with a depth of 25 meters, T-OIL is the only Brazilian private terminal capable of receiving VLCC class vessels.
