The company Mosaic benefited from the rise of commodities after the outbreak of war between Russia and Ukraine and, therefore, increased its profit exponentially.
According to rural channel, Mosaic, company of fertilizers of the United States, presented a net income of US$ 1,18 billion, being an increase of at least 684% in the first quarter of this year. And, with the new disclosures of the institution's second-quarter balance sheets, a new peak of appreciation of 137% can be noted in relation to the same period as 2021.
The hypervaluation of the fertilizer giant intensified after the beginning of ukraine war against russia, which meant that Brazilians had to depend on other countries to import fertilizers for carrying out agribusiness in addition to the Russians.
According to what was announced by Valor Econômico at the end of last Monday, August 01st, the institution would have reported, in this last quarter, a net profit of at least US$ 1 billion with the new increase in fertilizers and commodities.
