Senai comments on Alumar's dedication in Maranhão
Gilberto Lopes, who works in innovation and technology management at Senai, has been at Alumar for several years and has always observed an effort to encompass diversity in the company's operations, and confirms that there were already several women working in the instrumentation sector and also in the area soldering.
Lopes says that Alumar has been trying to break paradigms once again and expand opportunities for women in São Luís, through training, in one of the most complex areas. According to Lopes, Senai has the responsibility, due to the trust placed by Alumar in terms of training women, to show the rest of the country the essentiality of engaging in a program of this level.
Training will be aimed at former Senai students
Raiane Oliveira stated that Senai's choice for training women in São Luís is due to the historical competence that the body acquired as a professional education center. The manager claims that the company values offering excellent education and, over the years of partnership, Senai has shown its commitment to student training, which impacts on the quality of professionals who enter the market.
During the meeting, measures and deadlines for creating the schedule of project activities were discussed. The 50 women will be chosen from the pool of former students formed by Senai. The courses demanded by the company in São Luís will be for the aluminum process operator and electromechanical technician sectors.
