Fuel price rises to R$5,01; last week, Petrobras reduced the value for distributors. Country, ANP, most expensive diesel, weekly survey.
Over the last week, the price of gasoline in the country registered a slight reduction, falling from R$5,03 to R$5,01 between the 4th and 10th of this month, according to data released by the National Petroleum Agency (ANP).
Despite the drop, the gasoline still remains above the average value of R$5 per liter, with the lowest price found at R$4,19 in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, and the highest at R$6,99, both in the capital of São Paulo and in Barueri (SP).
The new reduction in the price of diesel and ethanol
Diesel also had a further reduction in the period. The common type (S500) decreased from R$6,55 to R$6,53 (-0,31%), while the less polluting S10 fell from R$6,67 to R$6,63 ( -0,6%). A drop in the price of ethanol was also noted, which went from R$3,85 to R$3,84 (-0,26%).

The decrease in the price of gasoline announced by Petrobras
On the 7th, the Petrobras announced a reduction of R$ 0,20 in the liter of gasoline and R$ 0,40 in diesel at distributors. Therefore, it is expected that the effects will be noticed in the next weekly survey da Oil National Agency, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
The increase in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas and Natural Gas for Vehicles
In terms of increases, Liquefied Petroleum Gas, which had a drop of R$4,55 for a 13-kilo cylinder applied by Petrobras on the 8th, rose. The average price in country went from R$109,75 to R$109,99, an increase of 0,22%. Already the Vehicle Natural Gas (CNG) went from R$4,78 to R$4,79, with an increase of 0,21%.
The fuel scenario in the country and the debate on taxes
This is the scenario of fuels in the country while the debate about the resumption of taxes in the sector comes to the fore. This is because the zero rate benefits of the PIS-Pasep (Social Integration and Public Servant Asset Formation Programs) and Cofins (Contribution to Social Security Financing), in principle, would expire at the end of this year.
