30 job openings in various sectors of ES

Small businesses account for 72% of the jobs created in the country

According to the president of the Thematic Council for Labor Relations (Consurt) of the Federation of Industries of the State (Findes), Fernando Otávio Campos, in addition to the electricity and oil sectors, a large part of the job vacancies will be aimed at the technology sectors and export. For this year, the estimate is that 10 jobs will be generated, and for the next year that another 20 will be made available.

The Findes director pointed out that ES vacancies are already in the hiring process and many are still available. Large companies such as ArcelorMittal, Vale and Suzano are investing with good prospects in the market. Another sector that has good expectations in ES for job openings is civil construction. According to the president of the Union of Civil Construction Industry in ES (Sinduscon), Paulo Baraona, businessmen are excited to carry out new real estate launches.

The president also stated that there are good investments in the industrial sector, such as ArcelorMittal, Vale, Suzano and other companies, in addition to public works by the ES government.

Vale promises to offer more than 2,9 jobs by the end of 2021

One of the companies mentioned by experts from Findes, Consurt and Sinduscon, Vale, informed that it signed a R$ 650 million contract to make environmental control works feasible, estimating that 2,9 opportunities will be generated in the works during this year.

The vacancies offered by the companies that will be responsible for the works in ES are for various positions such as multipurpose officer, carpenter, shipowner, foreman, foreman, mechanic, electrician, welder, industrial plumber and scaffold assembler. Interested parties can check available opportunities at company's website.

Lack of skilled labor and raw materials worry companies

Although ArcelorMittal, Vale, Suzano and other companies are excited, there are still reasons to be concerned about the lack of inputs and labor. According to the State Trade Federation (Fecomércio), José Carlos Bergamin, the lack of inputs can lead to higher prices for consumers.

The difficulty will not be in consumption, as there will be a great demand, but the issue of scarcity of raw materials is of concern and items that cannot change their structure may suffer from price increases.

Another factor highlighted by the Findes director is the lack of qualified labor. Otávio Campos stated that many vacancies that are already open are not filled easily. The state needs people who understand equipment, speak correct Portuguese and are trained. These job openings could be filled more quickly if companies could invest in training their employees.
