B2W's trucks have the capacity to transport around 23 tons of cargo and eight of these vehicles powered by CNG and biomethane are already making trips and guaranteeing deliveries within 24 hours of B2W's brands.
Trucks powered by CNG and biomethane follow fleets between some state capitals in the Southeast, linking distribution centers to hubs. If one of the trucks owned by the Americanas and Shoptime brands traces a trajectory from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo using CNG or biomethane, it avoids approximately more than 500 kg of CO2 released into the atmosphere, reducing emissions by up to 95% compared to the models traditional.
