Baidu, one of the world's big search engines, has launched an expensive self-driving electric car that won't need any kind of human oversight, being the world's largest scale and self-driving car. The announcement of the electric car was made last Wednesday (18), at Baidu's global event, but there were not many details about its launch.

Among the information that has been released so far by Baidu, one of the largest search engines in the world, is the announcement by the company's CEO, Li Yanhong, who promised that the electric car will have a high level of safety when it is in operation.
The level of safety reported by the executive is compared to driving a human driver. Baidu's electric car will feature several sensors to operate on a high security basis, in addition to using machine learning algorithm and artificial intelligence.

With these tools, the electric car itself may have the ability to evolve its driving modes, surpassing that of ordinary people and without the need for human driving.
Apollo Robocar promises a futuristic design
Among the information provided during the Baidu event, it was also reported on the futurism that will be in the design of the innovation created by the company, which will have a large display in its multimedia panel, where there will also be the user interface, responsible for acting as a central media with artificial intelligence, internet access and much more.
The electric car, which will not need human supervision, will also have other services included, such as scheduling dates and appointments, mentioned by the owner of the company. In addition, the model has a futuristic design where the doors open vertically and has seats for passengers only, reinforcing the idea that no human interference will be necessary.
The electric car will also recognize voice commands made by its owner, to redirect the destination and also perform tasks, if necessary. Currently, the company, which is one of the largest search engines, already offers autonomous vehicle operations in progress in China, such as cars and buses, however more common, which operate in controlled locations.
