BAMIN's Vision and Expansion
BAMIN is undertaking the construction of a new logistics corridor to integrate exports from mining and agribusiness in Brazil. This includes the Pedra de Ferro Mine, located in the city of Caetité, and other integrated logistics projects, such as the Porto Sul deep-water terminal in Ilhéus.
Additionally, the development of section 1 of the West-East Integration Railway (FIOL 1), which will be 537 km long, will connect Caetité to the South Port of Ilhéus, indicating a significant positive impact on the country's logistics sector.
