Following the growth in goods handling operations in the region, BBM Logística expanded its cargo transport road network and now serves all states in the Northeast region for operations.
This Friday, (15/07), the goods handling and logistics company BBM Logística has its road network expanded in the Northeast region and serves all states in that area. This is yet another growth strategy for the company in the national market and, with the region's significant growth in recent years in terms of product sales, the company now aims to ensure cargo transport operations to keep up with the pace of these states.
BBM Logística road network is expanded in the Northeast and the company serves all states with cargo transport operations
In the midst of a great demand for goods handling and product delivery services throughout Brazil, the company BBM Logística ensured growth in operations in the Northeast region and expanded its road network. In this way, the company that was previously present only in the states of Maranhão, Ceará, Piauí, Bahia and Sergipe, will operate in Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco, Paraíba and Alagoas, thus covering all states in the region in these services.
In addition, BBM Logística disclosed the exact data of its operations in the states of the Northeast and in Brazil and confirmed that, with the expansion of the road network in the region, it is now present in 5.329 Brazilian municipalities. The growth in the provision of services in the new states of the region assured the company a 20% increase in the territory covered by the company. In this way, BBM Logística guarantees even more presence in the operations of transporting goods in the northeastern cities.

The growth in BBM Logística's road network now allows the company to send and receive products from all over Brazil through municipalities in the Northeast and guarantees more efficient services. Thus, the company foresees a growth of approximately 50% in cargo volume, and an increase of more than 55% in revenue compared to current revenue in the Northeast, due to the new cargo transport contracts that will be signed in the region.
Northeast Region occupies the vice leadership in the consumption of products in Brazil and BBM Logística intends to take advantage of numbers to grow in the area
The northeastern region of Brazil not only has great relevance in terms of territorial extension and occupation of people, but has also become the second largest in terms of product consumption in Brazil. The states of the Northeast ensure a representation of 18,2% in the consumption of goods, behind the Southeast region, with 49%, according to the IPC Maps 2022 study, proving its relevance in the national scenario.
For this reason, André Prado, CEO of BBM Logística, highlighted the importance of accompanying growth with the road network and said: “The Northeast has been developing rapidly and we could not fail to serve the region in its entirety. By expanding our fractional transport network in the region, we will also open space for the provision of new direct delivery services (e-commerce), full loads and dedicated contracts. In addition, we will be very close to covering all states in Brazil, considering our next expansion to the North region”.
