The international event brought together more than 15 thousand people in five days of programming at Expocentro Júlio Tedesco, in Balneário Camboriú
Balneário Camboriú hosted the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC). The event was part of BC Fight Week, held from February 26th to March 3rd, with three international events in jiu jitsu, grappling and MMA. What few know is that the organization of the event was the responsibility of local companies, who took care of all production, assembly, catering, among other related services that guaranteed the success of the event.
“ADXC is set to be the biggest grappling event in the world, so nothing more fair than bringing this show to the country that internationalized jiu jitsu and in Balneário Camboriú we had a structure of the same standard as the events held in Abu Dhabi”, he says Rodrigo Valério, commercial operations manager at IVSM, the group that owns ADXC.
“From Abu Dhabi, ADXC is touring the world, bringing the excitement and spirit of grappling to fans across the planet,” said HE Abdulmunan Al Hashemi, President of the UAEJJ Federation. Ambassador Saleh Ahmad Salem Alzaraim Al Suwaid also participated in the ADXC, who represented the United Arab Emirates, the country responsible for the partnership to bring the competition to Brazil.

Local businesses ensured the success of BC Fight Week
“This is the first time that ADCX leaves the United Arab Emirates and comes to Brazil and the entire production and execution of the event was carried out by local companies, which demonstrated that they have the expertise to hold events of all sizes”, says Felipe Pamplona , co-owner of Pamplona Produções e Eventos, which has already produced sporting events such as UFC, FMS in particular Whindersson Nunes X Popó among other major events on the scene. Pamplona, together with Rosa Fatho Eventos Criativos and 7+ Eventos, took care of the production of BC Flight Week.
7+ Eventos is a company specialized in events of all sizes and has a client portfolio that includes major artistic, cultural and sports promoters. Pamplona Produções is today one of the largest producers of sporting events in Brazil and Rosa Fatho has tradition and expertise in social and corporate events of all sizes.
“Pamplona Produções e Eventos negotiated with Abu Dhabi the conduct of this event through the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Federation and the city hall of Balneário Camboriú and took care of the visual identity, architectural design, together with 7+ Eventos, responsible for everything structural”, says Felipe
Rosa Fatho also had a great participation in the entire process. “He participated in crucial services for the perfect running of the events that took place simultaneously in Balneário Camboriú, from host services, organization of VIP sectors, food, reception, coordination of the general public and event security”, adds Felipe.
Adriana Rosa, managing partner of Rosa Fatho, says that large and complex events enable the event services sector in the region to showcase its enormous potential. “Today we have a service network that is as good or even better than those available in large centers. These are events the size of BC Fight Week that allow us to showcase all of our expertise”, points out Adriana.
