But to walk this path there are some fundamental steps, such as schooling and values. Below, find out the requirements for each category of this profession.

Requirements

To start the Private Pilot Course, the student must be at least 17 years old and have completed 1st degree. For a Commercial Pilot, a high school diploma is required.
It is also necessary to take the test of the type of aircraft (Ground School R22) that the school also offers to students.

  1. For the formation of PPH – Private Pilot Helicopter requires at least 35 practical flight hours.
The PPH Course is the first step for those who dream of becoming a pilot, the PPH is the qualification to fly private aircraft.
Before starting the practical classes, the student must provide the Aeronautical Medical Certificate (CMA) which is the performance of health examinations at hospitals and clinics accredited by ANAC.
The Student needs to take a theoretical course for Private Helicopter Pilot in an approved school and after the end of this course, he must take a theoretical test at ANAC called “Banca da ANAC”, but he can start the practical classes before taking the test.
  2. To form PCH – Commercial Helicopter Pilot requires at least 65 more practical flight hours.
This is the phase of professionalization of the pilot, where the student is prepared for the civil aviation market, being able to exercise the profession in private companies, specialized air services, air taxi and large airlines, including OFFSHORE that are currently in demand for hiring trained professionals.
The student must take a commercial pilot theoretical course in an approved entity and take a new bench at ANAC, this time for Commercial Pilot and 1st class CMA.
  3. To form INVH – Helicopter flight instructor at least 10 more practical flight hours are required.
This is the phase in which the pilot becomes a flight instructor and passes on to transmit his knowledge and experience to the students.
