Data released by the Minas Gerais Economic Development Secretariat reveal that the installation of multinationals, especially in the food, pharmaceutical and, more recently, household appliances sectors, contributed to the opening of more than 10 thousand job vacancies in Pouso Alegre.

The highlight is the construction of a new household appliances factory in an area of 200 thousand square meters in the city.
Starting in August, the work is expected to be completed next year.
