Industrial growth in Minas Gerais stands out with the installation of multinationals, generating more than 10 thousand job vacancies. The construction of a household appliances factory and private investments of R$1,5 billion boost the state's economy.
The expansion of the sector industrial in Minas Gerais is boosting the job market and the business scenario in cities such as Pouso Alegre and Passos, in the south of the state. Data released by the Minas Gerais Economic Development Secretariat reveal that the installation of multinationals, especially in the food, pharmaceutical and, more recently, household appliances sectors, contributed to the opening of more than 10 thousand job vacancies in Pouso Alegre.
Minas Gerais' economic scenario in evidence with investments from multinationals and generation of opportunities
The highlight is the construction of a new household appliances factory in an area of 200 thousand square meters in the city.
Starting in August, the work is expected to be completed next year.

In Passos, a Dutch brewery is progressing with its construction, with plans to operate until 2025.
The company, which is being built on the banks of MGC-146, between Passos and São João Batista do Glória, promises to generate 350 direct jobs, representing an investment of R$2 billion.
In addition to direct jobs, the installation of the brewery in Passos triggered other investments in the region.
A four million square meter plot of land, located in front of the beer factory, will be transformed into a promising business district.
With R$15 million in investments planned, works should begin next year, consolidating the vision of sustainable growth for the city.
